The Ray Graham Association provides support and care for individuals with disabilities in the Chicago area. Their mission is to always put people first and help individuals with disabilities and their caretakers lead happier, healthier lives by providing programs that meet needs, develop strengths, and encourage growth. David has volunteered with Ray Graham since 2016 and joined the board of directors in July of 2020. Our partnership with New York Life has also provided the Ray Graham Association with funds for housing, education, and placement programs.
Buddy’s Place is an organization of Pillars Community Health that provides support and education for childhood bereavement. Since 2000, Buddy’s Place has given children and teenagers a safe and supportive environment to grieve the loss of loved ones, and they offer counseling and educational courses to guide children and their families through the grieving process. The New York Life Foundation (one of the largest benefactors in the U.S. of child bereavement) worked with Buddy's Place in 2019 and were able to help provide local schools with educational seminars and grants that support the mission of Buddy's Place. This is important work because it helps kids during the toughest times of their lives
